the display on my ninja dualzone air fryer says 'End' but it's still hot and the food isn't done.

— asked by David

'End' means the timer reached zero. The heating elements turn off, but residual heat remains. Your food likely needed more time.

  1. Check the food's internal temperature with a thermometer. For safety, poultry should reach 165°F, ground meats 160°F, etc.
  2. If undercooked, you can add more time. Select the zone. Use the TIME arrows to add minutes. Press START/PAUSE.
  3. For even cooking, shake the basket during the added time.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: You may have accidentally stopped a zone. If 'End' appears on one display during dual-zone cooking, you canceled that zone's time. Select that zone, set a new time, and press START/PAUSE. Cooking continues in the other zone.

HEADS UP: To prevent this, don't set the time to zero during cooking unless you intend to stop that zone. Always use a food thermometer to verify doneness, as appliance performance can vary.
