Diagnosis
The blender is in a locked or error state, often triggered by overheating or a previous power surge.
How to Fix It
You need to do a full power cycle reset. 1) Unplug the blender from the wall outlet. 2) Wait for a full 60 seconds—this lets the internal control board completely discharge. 3) While it's unplugged, press and hold the "Clean" button for about 10 seconds to drain any residual charge. 4) Plug the blender directly back into the wall. The light should flash briefly, then go solid. Now try a speed button.
If That Didn't Work
If it's still unresponsive after the reset, check if the touch panel has any visible moisture or film. Clean it gently with a dry cloth. A persistent lock could indicate a failed control board, which is a repair job.
Heads Up
This kind of lockout is a safety feature. It often happens if you run the blender on high for too long on a heavy task, like nut butter. Respect the duty cycle—don't run it continuously for more than 2-3 minutes on high speed without letting it cool down.
