Diagnosis
Your Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven is operating as designed, not malfunctioning. The "Keep Warm" function has a built-in, automatic 10-minute timer for safety and energy efficiency. It is engineered to hold already-cooked food at a safe serving temperature (typically 145°F-165°F) briefly, not for extended holding or reheating.
How to Fix It
To keep food warm for longer than 10 minutes, you must manually restart the cycle.
- Press the Power button to turn the unit completely off.
- Immediately press the Warm button again to restart the function.
- The digital display will reset and show the full 30-minute countdown, beginning anew. You can repeat this process as needed, but monitor your food.
If That Didn't Work
If the Warm function shuts off in significantly less than 10 minutes or will not reactivate, first ensure the oven is in "Warm" mode and not a cooking mode like Toast or Bake. Unplug the unit for 60 seconds to reset its electronic control board, then plug it back in and try again. If the problem persists, the internal thermostat or control board may be faulty, and customer service should be contacted.
Heads Up
Never use the Warm function to cook raw food or reheat cold food, as it does not generate enough heat to do so safely. This can lead to bacterial growth. The function is for temperature maintenance only. Always supervise the oven when in use.
