Diagnosis: The LED worklight (7) is designed to activate automatically when the speed control trigger (5) is squeezed. A failure to light indicates either an extreme low-battery state or a component issue.
FIX:
- Check battery charge. Install a fully charged battery pack.
- Squeeze the trigger. The light should illuminate the immediate work area.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The tool may have a faulty LED component. The light's function is secondary to the drill's operation.
HEADS UP: This light is only intended to illuminate the direct area of operation. It is not suitable for general room illumination. If the drill functions but the light does not, you can continue to use the tool safely, but ensure you have adequate external lighting for your work area.
