DIAGNOSIS The pump is running dry or is blocked. The machine has an internal water path that is likely clogged or the pump is failing.
FIX Run a full descale cycle using the provided Breville descaler or citric acid solution. Fill the water tank fully. Let the cycle run its full 20 minutes. This clears mineral blockages in the internal tubes and pump.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal one-way valve in the water tank base might be stuck. Remove the water tank. Check the small silicone valve in the bottom for debris. Clean it with a soft brush and warm water.
HEADS UP Never run a descale cycle without a full water tank. Running the pump dry can burn it out immediately.
