DIAGNOSIS This is a signal interruption, commonly caused by a failing HDMI cable, an unstable overclock, or a GPU driver timeout.
FIX Isolate the cause systematically. One: Replace the HDMI cable with a certified High-Speed HDMI cable. Two: In the monitor OSD, disable FreeSync (Menu > Game > FreeSync). Test. AMD FreeSync can cause black screens if the GPU's frame rate falls outside the monitor's adaptive sync range (48-100Hz for this model). Three: Update your graphics card drivers to the latest stable version, performing a clean installation.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue may be related to power saving features. On the monitor OSD, go to Menu > System > Auto Source Switch and set it to Off. Also, in Windows, navigate to Power & Sleep settings and set to High Performance mode.
HEADS UP If you are using an NVIDIA GPU with a G-SYNC Compatible setting enabled, ensure the refresh rate is capped 3-4 FPS below the monitor's maximum (e.g., 97 FPS) to prevent the render queue from overflowing, which can cause signal dropouts.
