DIAGNOSIS A solid yellow light means the camera is powered on but isn't fully set up or connected to your Wi-Fi network. It's stuck in a pre-setup or factory reset state.
FIX You need to go through the setup process again in the Google Home app. 1) Open the app, tap the '+' to add a device. 2) Choose "New device" and it should search for the camera. 3) Follow the on-screen steps, which will involve scanning the QR code on the bottom of the camera or the one shown in the app. Make sure you're connecting it to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The camera might have a corrupted setup. Perform a full factory reset. With the camera plugged in, press and hold the button on the back for about 10 seconds until you hear it say it's resetting and the light flashes yellow. Then start the setup process from scratch in the app.
HEADS UP During setup, have your phone's Bluetooth turned on. The app uses Bluetooth to initially find and communicate with the camera before connecting it to Wi-Fi. If Bluetooth is off, it can get stuck.
