DIAGNOSIS Sync Finish calculates time based on the higher of the two set temperatures. If food types or quantities are vastly different, the algorithm cannot compensate physically.
FIX For Sync Finish to function, you must first select it by pressing the SYNC button. Then set both baskets to different temperatures and/or times. The display will show "SYNC" and the calculated adjusted time. Crucially, the food load mass and moisture content in each basket must be reasonably similar. Use it for two batches of fries, not fries and frozen chicken breasts.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The feature requires both baskets to start cooking simultaneously. If you open one basket during the cycle, Sync Finish pauses for that basket only, desynchronizing them. Do not open baskets until the cycle ends.
HEADS UP Sync Finish adjusts time, not temperature. The basket with the lower set temperature will cook at that lower temp for the entire extended time, potentially drying out food.
