DIAGNOSIS Condensation or dust inside the sealed camera dome. Temperature shifts cause fogging on the internal lens protecting the sensor.
FIX You cannot open the dome without breaking the seal. Use a desiccant. Place the camera in a sealed bag with a few silica gel packets (from shoe boxes) for 24 hours. This pulls moisture from inside the housing. Do not use rice.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the video settings in the app. Ensure 'Video Quality' is set to 'Optimized' or 'Best'. 'Low Battery' mode reduces quality. Also, night vision haze is often IR reflection from a nearby wall or window. Reposition the camera.
HEADS UP Never use chemical cleaners or compressed air on the lens. It can damage the anti-reflective coating. Use only a dry microfiber cloth. The internal fog often clears on its own after a few sunny days.
