the wall control panel just flashes and doesn't open the door, but my remote works fine.

DIAGNOSIS The wall console lost its pairing to the main motor unit. It's a separate device that needs to be reprogrammed, unlike the wired buttons on older models.

FIX Re-pair the wall console to the opener.

  1. On the motor unit, press and hold the smart button until the light turns solid blue.
  2. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the back of the wall console for 3 seconds.
  3. The motor unit light will flash and you'll hear two clicks. The wall console light should stop flashing and become steady.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the battery in the wall console. It uses a CR2032 coin cell. A weak battery can cause pairing failure and erratic behavior. Replace it and try the pairing steps again.

HEADS UP The wall console must be within sight of the motor unit during pairing. Metal garage doors, insulation, or obstructions can block the wireless signal needed for the initial sync.
