DIAGNOSIS: The scooter is operating in a speed-limited mode. This is usually triggered by user error or a settings glitch.
FIX: 1. Confirm you are in Sport mode. Double-tap the power button on the display to cycle through modes until "S" is shown. 2. Check the TurboAnt app for a speed limit setting. Some firmware versions allow setting a maximum speed in the app; ensure it is set to the maximum (approx. 20 mph). 3. Perform a system reset: Turn the scooter OFF. Hold the brake lever and the throttle lever simultaneously, then turn the scooter ON. Release the levers after 5 seconds.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: A failing motor hall sensor or a deteriorating battery pack can cause speed limiting as a protective measure, even without displaying a clear error code.
HEADS UP: If the speed restriction coincided with a recent firmware update via the app, the update may have reset your speed settings to factory defaults, which include a lower limit.
