Diagnosis
Low water pressure is almost always due to a clogged filter or a kinked line, restricting flow to the dispenser.
How to Fix It
Follow these steps: 1. Check the water filter first—if it's near the end of its 6-month life, replace it. 2. Inspect the water line behind the fridge for any sharp bends or compression. 3. Inside the fridge, remove the dispenser cover (usually snaps off) and look for debris in the nozzle; clean it with a toothpick and warm water. 4. Test the dispenser after each step to isolate the issue.
If That Didn't Work
The water pressure from your home supply might be too low, or the dispenser valve itself could be failing. Use a pressure gauge on the supply valve behind the fridge; it should read between 20 and 120 psi.
Heads Up
Avoid using generic water filters—they can fit poorly and cause slow flow or leaks. Stick with Frigidaire-approved ones.
