DIAGNOSIS Leakage from the blade assembly indicates a failed bearing seal. This is a critical failure. The container is not safe for use.
FIX Stop using the container immediately. Confirm the leak source. Dry the entire container. Fill it with water and let it sit on the counter (not on the base) for several minutes. Check for water droplets forming around the center metal drive socket or the black blade assembly. If water appears, the container seal is compromised. You must replace the container. The blade assembly is not user-serviceable.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Ensure the leak is not from the lid or lid plug. Fill the container, secure the lid and plug, and invert it over a sink. If water drips from the lid area, the silicone gasket in the lid may be misaligned or damaged. Clean and reseat the gasket, or replace the lid.
HEADS UP Never submerge the entire container in water. Never place it in a dishwasher. Water entering the blade bearing assembly will cause this seal failure and can lead to motor damage in the base if leaked fluid contacts the electrical connectors.
