what's the black tip for on my greenworks pressure washer? the one with the tiny pin-hole.

— asked by Lisa

That's the 0° (red) Turbo nozzle. It's not for general use.

You use it for the most stubborn, stuck-on grime on very durable surfaces like concrete. It produces a needle-thin, rotating jet that delivers the maximum 1700 PSI to a very small area. It's incredibly powerful and can damage surfaces instantly.

Guidelines:

  • White 40° tip: For light cleaning on soft surfaces like wood decks.
  • Green 15° tip: For general purpose cleaning on things like siding or patio furniture.
  • Black Turbo tip: Only for heavy-duty cleaning on durable materials, and keep it moving constantly.

Heads up: Never use the Turbo tip on anything you care about. It will etch concrete, strip paint, and gouge wood. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
