Diagnosis
Insufficient cellular bandwidth. Live streaming video, especially in higher quality, requires a stable, high-speed 4G LTE connection.
How to Fix It
Reduce the data demand for live view.
- In the Arlo app, go to the camera's Settings > Video Settings and set 'Live View Video Quality' to 'Standard' or 'Low'.
- Ensure no other devices on your cellular plan are consuming heavy data concurrently.
- Try live view during off-peak hours (e.g., not 5-7 PM) when network congestion may be lower.
If That Didn't Work
Your specific location might be on a congested cell tower band. Check your signal strength in the device settings; if it's strong but speed is poor, there's little you can do beyond relocation.
Heads Up
Streaming live view over cellular will consume your monthly Arlo data plan allocation very quickly; it's primarily intended for triggered event clips.
