Diagnosis
Three beeps is a specific alert pattern. It indicates one of three things: low battery (most common), SD card failure, or loss of cellular connection.
How to Fix It
Diagnose the primary alert.
- Check the battery icon in the Arlo app. If it's red or below 20%, charge it.
- If battery is fine, check the 'Mobile Service' status in the app. If it says 'No Service', address the cellular connection (see other fixes).
- If using local storage, go to Settings > Storage Settings and see if the SD card is recognized. Try reseating it.
If That Didn't Work
A firmware glitch can sometimes cause a false alarm. Perform a full hardware reset by holding the camera's sync button for about 15 seconds until it beeps and flashes amber. You will need to set it up again.
Heads Up
You cannot fully disable the audible alert system. Solving the underlying problem is the only way to silence the beeps.
