Fix: For parallel operation, you must use only a Honda-approved parallel operation cable kit. Connect the cables to the parallel operation outlets on each generator's control panel. You can pair an EU2200i with:
- Another EU2200i or EU2200i Companion.
- An EU2000i or EU2000i Companion, but only if the EU2000i models have serial numbers EAAJ-2017305 and later, or EACT-1000001 and later.
If That Didn't Work: Never connect an EU2200i to any other generator model not specified above. Also, when operating in parallel, place the generators so the exhaust from one is not blowing directly onto the other.
