No. Absolutely not. Use only the specifically designated 20V, 1.5Ah Li-ion battery pack. Using any other battery pack creates a risk of injury and fire.
The charger is also specific. The charger output is DC 21.5V, 1.5A. A charger for a 40V battery would be completely incompatible and dangerous.
If that didn't work: There is no alternative. The tool's electronics and motor are rated for 20V DC. A higher voltage will cause immediate and catastrophic failure, likely resulting in fire or explosion.
