can i use my hawkins classic on an induction stove? it's the 2 litre one.

— asked by Casey

Probably not, unless it's a specific induction-compatible model. The standard Hawkins Classic is recommended for gas stoves.

They do make a 'Hawkins Classic Induction Compatible' line. Those have an extra-thick base and work on induction. Check your model code—if it starts with 'ICL' (like ICL40), it's induction-safe. If it's just 'CL20', it's for gas.
