can i use my old vitamix container with my new e310 explorian base?

Yes, but only specific legacy containers. Vitamix Self-Detect containers will not work.

• Will work: Legacy C Series and G Series containers.
• Will NOT work: Any Vitamix Self-Detect container.

Important usage notes:

1. Lids and tampers are not interchangeable between different container styles and sizes. You must use the tamper that was supplied with your specific container.
2. To verify a tamper is correct for a container: Place the lid on the empty container, remove the lid plug, and insert the tamper. If the tamper touches the blades at any angle, do not use it.
3. For the 20-ounce personal cup, you must use it with the Vitamix Personal Cup Adapter. Do not use it for hot liquids or for more than 75 seconds continuously.
