- Legacy (C Series and G Series) containers will work.
- Vitamix Self-Detect containers will not work.
- A 20 oz. cup works only when paired with the Vitamix Personal Cup Adapter.
Critical compatibility note: Lids and tampers are not interchangeable between different container styles, types, and sizes. You must use the tamper that was supplied with your specific container. Using the wrong tamper can cause it to hit the blades.
To verify a tamper: Place the lid on the empty container. Remove the lid plug and insert the tamper. If the tamper touches the blades at any angle, do not use it. Contact Vitamix Household Customer Service at 1.800.848.2649 for the correct part.
