Diagnosis
The "Water Full" error on the Euhomy IM-02 is triggered by a magnetic float switch located within the reservoir assembly. This switch consists of a small, buoyant magnetic ring that slides up and down a vertical guide tube. When the ring reaches the top of the tube, it triggers a reed switch that signals the control board to stop filling. If this ring becomes lodged due to mineral buildup, surface tension, or physical debris, the sensor "thinks" the water has reached the maximum fill line regardless of the actual water level.
In many cases, this happens during the first few uses because of microscopic plastic shavings from the manufacturing process or air bubbles trapped in the sensor housing. You can confirm this is the issue if the "Water Full" light remains illuminated even when the tank is completely empty. If the light flickers when you tilt the machine, the float is likely stuck in a "neutral" position and cannot travel the full length of the guide tube to reset the sensor.
How to Fix It
To resolve the stuck float sensor and clear the error code, follow these precise steps:
- Disconnect the IM-02 from the power outlet completely to reset the internal control board.
- Remove the water reservoir from the main chassis. Locate the vertical clear plastic tube on the side of the reservoir; this is the float chamber.
- Gently tilt the reservoir back and forth. You should see a small white circular float moving up and down. If it remains stationary at the top or middle, it is stuck.
- Use a soft-bristled toothbrush or a cotton swab dipped in a mixture of warm water and white vinegar to clean the interior walls of the clear tube. This removes any biofilm or calcium deposits that create friction against the float.
- Carefully shake the reservoir vertically to ensure the float drops to the absolute bottom of the tube.
- Dry the exterior of the reservoir and the contact points on the machine.
- Reinsert the reservoir firmly, ensuring it seats completely into the base.
- Plug the unit back in and press the "Reset" or "Power" button to clear the cached error state.
If That Didn't Work
- Perform a Hard Sensor Reset: Unplug the machine and leave it powered down for at least 30 minutes. This allows the capacitors on the main PCB to discharge fully, which can clear a "ghost" error state where the software is stuck on the "Full" trigger even after the physical float has moved.
- Check for Air Lock: Sometimes an air bubble traps itself inside the sensor tube, preventing the float from descending. Submerge the reservoir in a sink of warm water and gently agitate it to force air bubbles out of the sensor housing.
- Inspect the Reed Switch Alignment: Ensure the reservoir is not warped. If the plastic housing of the reservoir is slightly bowed, the float tube may be sitting too far away from the magnetic reed switch located in the machine's chassis, preventing the "Empty" signal from being read.
- Verify Water Chemistry: If you are using highly mineralized hard water, the float can seize. Flush the entire system with a 50/50 solution of distilled water and white vinegar, letting it sit for one hour before attempting a normal cycle.

- Avoid Overfilling: Never fill the reservoir past the "MAX" line; doing so can force water into the sensor housing and cause permanent short-circuiting of the reed switch.
- Use Distilled Water: To prevent the float from sticking in the future, use distilled or filtered water. Tap water minerals create a "crust" inside the float tube that eventually jams the magnetic ring.
- Weekly Cleaning: Every 7 days, wipe down the float tube with a damp cloth to ensure no slime or mineral buildup is accumulating.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use bleach or abrasive scrubbers on the float tube, as scratching the interior plastic creates "snag points" that will trap the float and trigger false errors.
