The basket is overfilled or the crisper plate is misaligned.

FIX:

1. Remove the basket. Take out the crisper plate.
2. Check that the four rubber stoppers on the crisper plate are correctly seated. They should be fitted through the bottom of the plate. If missing or deformed, the plate can sit unevenly.
3. Reduce the food load. Do not overfill the basket. Heaping food can touch the heating coils.
4. Re-insert the crisper plate into the basket, then push the basket assembly firmly straight into the air fryer until it clicks.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Inspect the air inlet and outlet inside the housing for food debris. Clean the heating coil with a dry, non-abrasive tool. Do not immerse the housing in water.

HEADS UP: Never use the air fryer without the basket fully secured. Do not strike or hit the top of the air fryer, as this can crack the tempered glass.
