dyson v8 absolute keeps shutting off after a few seconds, battery light flashes. how do i fix this?

The battery is low. The flashing light on the Mode button indicates a low battery.

FIX: Connect the machine to the charger, either directly or in the dock. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours. While charging, the battery LED will flash. The light turns off when fully charged.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Check for a blockage. The motor will pulse and shut down if any part is blocked. Disconnect from the charger, let it cool, and check these areas:

• The bin, cyclones, and wand attachment point.
• Both ends of the wand.
• The brush bar and air inlet on the cleaner head.

Clear any obstructions.

HEADS UP: For best battery life, only use Boost mode when needed. Returning the machine to the dock after use helps maintain battery life.
