You need to remove the brush bar to clean it. First, make sure your machine is disconnected from the charger.
- Press the cleaner head release button on the end of the wand and place the cleaner head upside down.
- Locate the end cap on the side of the cleaner head. Push it up fully and pull the brush bar out.
- Remove the end cap from the brush bar. Do not wash the end cap.
- Hold the brush bar under running water and gently rub to remove lint and hair. Run your hand down its length to squeeze out water.
- Stand the brush bar upright with the closed end at the top. Let it dry completely for at least 24 hours.
- Once dry, reattach the end cap. Slide the brush bar back into the cleaner head and push the end cap down to the closed position.
If that didn't work: If the roller still won't spin, check for blockages inside the cleaner head's air inlet. Also, ensure the brush bar is completely dry before reassembly; a damp part can cause issues.
Heads up: Never put the cleaner head in a dishwasher or use detergents, polishes, or air fresheners. It contains electronic components.
