Diagnosis
LE is a motor or motor control error. The main control board isn't getting the correct feedback from the motor's hall sensor about its speed. Often a faulty motor, but sometimes wiring.
How to Fix It
Unplug the machine for 5 minutes. This resets the control board. Plug back in and try a spin-only cycle. If LE returns, the motor itself is the most likely culprit and needs replacement.
If That Didn't Work
Check the wiring harness connection between the motor and the main control board. It's behind the rear panel. Look for any loose, burnt, or corroded pins.
Heads Up
Before calling a tech, ensure the machine is perfectly level. An extreme imbalance from being unlevel can sometimes trigger motor sensor errors during the spin phase.
