You can clean it safely with a quick self-clean cycle. Here's how.
- First, turn off and unplug the blender. This is non-negotiable for safety.
- Fill the 48 oz. container half full with warm water and add a couple drops of dish soap.
- Snap the complete 2-part lid securely into the locked position.
- Put the container on the base, plug the unit back in, and press On/Off to start.
- Slowly increase the variable speed dial to 10.
- Let it run for 30 to 60 seconds.
- Rotate the dial back to Variable 1 and press On/Off to stop.
- After blending, wait for the blades to stop completely before removing the container. Rinse and dry all parts.
All parts except the motor base are dishwasher safe. For the base, just wipe with a damp cloth—never put it in water or other liquid.
