Clean the appliance base by hand only. Never immerse it in water.
- Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
- Use a clean, moist cloth to wipe the inside and outside of the base.
- For stubborn residue, use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Do not use steel wool, metal scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft towel.
Do not use any petroleum-based cleaners, as they will damage the housing and control panel. Only the inner pot and glass lid are dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended to preserve the non-stick coating.
