Diagnosis
Dirt, pollen, and water spots are accumulating on the outer lens cover, diffusing the light and creating a blurry or hazy image.
How to Fix It
It's a simple clean, but you gotta be gentle. 1) Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth—the kind you'd use for eyeglasses or a phone screen. 2) Gently wipe the circular lens area in a circular motion. 3) For stubborn spots, you can slightly dampen the cloth with distilled water, then wipe, followed immediately by a dry pass with the other side of the cloth.
If That Didn't Work
If it's still blurry after cleaning, check if the haze is actually on the *inside* of the lens, which would indicate a failed weather seal and moisture intrusion. That's a warranty issue.
Heads Up
Never use compressed air, household cleaners, paper towels, or abrasive cloths. These can scratch the lens coating or force moisture into the seals. Just a soft cloth is all it needs.
