Diagnosis
The camera is being triggered far too often, which wakes it up, records, and sends data—the three biggest battery drains. High traffic areas or overly sensitive motion zones will kill a charge fast.
How to Fix It
You need to adjust the motion settings. 1) Open the Ring app, select your camera, and tap Motion Settings. 2) Lower the Motion Sensitivity slider. 3) Use Motion Zones to draw boxes only on the areas that matter (like your driveway, not the public sidewalk). 4) Increase the 'Minute Cooldown' time so it isn't retriggered constantly.
If That Didn't Work
Check for non-motion triggers. Frequent Live View sessions drain the battery heavily. Make sure family members aren't checking it constantly for no reason.
Heads Up
For a permanent solution, seriously consider the Ring Solar Panel. It's designed for this camera and will keep it topped off indefinitely, turning a battery problem into a non-issue.
