You'll need to locate the sensor on the unit itself. Here's how to clean it safely.
- First, unplug the air purifier from the wall. This is non-negotiable for safety.
- Find the AirSight Pro sensor. It's a small, grille-like opening on the housing of the purifier.
- Take the hose attachment of your vacuum cleaner and place the end directly over that sensor opening. You want a good seal.
- Turn the vacuum on and let it run for at least 10 seconds. This will suck out any dust buildup inside.
That's it. Plug it back in. You should do this every 3 months, or more often if you have a lot of dust, dander, or smoke in your air. If your air quality lights are stuck on red or blue more than usual, this cleaning usually fixes it.
