Cleaning the reservoir periodically is a good idea to prevent buildup. It's straightforward.
First, turn off and unplug the brewer. Never immerse the whole brewer in water.
- Lift the water reservoir lid.
- Wipe the inside of the reservoir and the underside of the lid with a damp, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth. You can use a little mild soap.
- Do not dry the inside with a cloth, as lint may remain. Instead, let the reservoir air dry completely before reassembling and using.
HEADS UP: Always empty the water reservoir before storing or transporting the brewer. If you've stored it, rinse the reservoir with fresh water and consider descaling before use.
