Install an ALD 2000 or similar automatic liquid drain system. This is the primary protective measure.
- The ALD 2000 is a flood prevention device. Install it on the ozone line to the venturi injector.
- Non-return (check) valves do not provide 100% protection.
- When injecting ozone into water, all measures must be taken to protect the generator cell from water exposure/flooding, which causes internal cell damage.
If that didn't work: Ensure your ozone injector (venturi) is sized correctly to dissolve a minimum of 90% of the ozone gas into the water flow continuously. Undissolved gas should be vented through a degas tank and an ozone destructor.
Heads up: The ozone cell has tamper-proof devices. Any attempt to open it voids the warranty and any possibility of service. Water damage repair requires prior authorization from Absolute Ozone.
