DIAGNOSIS The door alarm is a default feature. It's controlled through the display panel settings, not a physical button.
FIX Disable it via the control panel in under 10 seconds.
1. Press the 'Fridge' button on the display to light up the controls.
2. Press and hold the 'Fridge' button for about 3 seconds until you hear a beep and see the settings icon appear.
3. Press the 'Ice Type' or 'Temp' buttons (they act as navigation) to scroll through settings until you see the door alarm icon (looks like an open door with a sound wave).
4. Press the 'Lock' button to toggle the alarm On or Off. Select 'Off'.
5. Wait a few seconds for it to auto-exit, or press 'Fridge' again.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the control panel is unresponsive, you may need to do a full power reset (unplug for 5 minutes) first to clear any glitch, then try the steps again.
HEADS UP The alarm is a useful reminder if you accidentally leave the door ajar. Consider leaving it on if you have kids, or just get in the habit of disabling it after grocery unloading and re-enabling it later.
