DIAGNOSIS The clean cycle requires a specific setup sequence. Pressing the button alone initiates a timer, but the physical cleaning process is manual.
FIX Power on the unit. Ensure the ice basket is empty. Press and hold the 'Clean' button for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes. The unit will enter a 3-minute drain cycle. After it completes, add the official cleaning solution or a vinegar-water mix to the reservoir. Press 'Clean' again to start a 5-minute wash cycle. Finally, run two full tanks of clean water through the system to rinse.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the drain cycle does not start, the drain hole at the bottom of the freezing chamber is clogged. Use the provided cleaning brush to clear it.
HEADS UP Never use abrasive cleaners or bleach. Residual cleaner will affect ice taste and damage the water pump.
