DIAGNOSIS A leak from the bottom indicates a failed internal seal or a blocked drain path. The two most common locations are the reservoir seal or the drain pump connection.
FIX First, ensure the machine is level. Use a bubble level on the top surface. Second, check the silicone seal around the removable water reservoir. Remove it, clean the seal and its seat, and reinsert it firmly until it clicks. Run a manual drain cycle by unplugging the unit and tilting it slightly over a sink.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal drain tube may be disconnected. This requires accessing the rear panel. Unplug the unit, remove the 4-6 Phillips-head screws on the back, and check the clear vinyl tube from the pump to the drain port for kinks or detachment.
HEADS UP Continuous operation with a internal leak can damage the compressor. Address this before making more ice.
