Diagnosis
Dust, pollen, or water spots have built up on the outer glass dome covering both camera lenses, blurring the image.
How to Fix It
Use a simple, non-abrasive cleaning method. 1) Power off the unit at the circuit breaker for safety. 2) Use a soft microfiber cloth slightly dampened with distilled water. 3) Gently wipe the large, curved glass dome in a circular motion. 4) Dry immediately with a dry part of the cloth. Do not use chemicals or window cleaner.
If That Didn't Work
If blur is still present in the app view, check if it's condensation inside the lens housing—a sign of seal failure. You’ll see droplets behind the glass. That requires a warranty replacement.
Heads Up
The glass has a permanent anti-glare coating. Scrubbing it or using any cleaner (like Windex) will permanently damage the coating, making night vision flare and images hazy forever.
