Diagnosis
This is a chronic Wi-Fi connectivity drop, usually due to a weak signal or IP address conflicts with your router.
How to Fix It
Assign a static IP address to the camera in your router settings. This is the most effective permanent fix. Steps: 1) Find the camera’s MAC address in the Eufy Security app under Device Settings > General > About. 2) Log into your router’s admin page. 3) Find DHCP settings, reserve an IP for that MAC address. Reboot the router and camera.
If That Didn't Work
The signal is likely too weak. The E340 has a weaker antenna than some models. Install a Wi-Fi extender or mesh node closer to the installation point—preferably one that supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
Heads Up
If you have a dual-band router, ensure the camera is connected to the 2.4GHz network, not the 5GHz. The 5GHz band has shorter range and worse wall penetration, which can cause these drops.
