DIAGNOSIS Likely a simple assembly or power issue, not a dead unit. First, check that all parts are correctly installed for first use.
FIX Confirm the handle is fully attached. It ships detached, and if not clicked completely into place, it breaks the electrical connection. Press the handle release button, lift the handle upward, and then push down firmly until you hear a loud, definitive click. Then, ensure the power cord is fully plugged into both the wall outlet and the port on the back of the machine.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Try a different wall outlet. The CrossWave has a GFCI-like safety system and can be finicky with some modern outlets or power strips. Plug it directly into a standard wall outlet.
HEADS UP The machine has no power switch—it turns on via the trigger on the handle. If the handle isn't locked, pulling the trigger does nothing. That 'click' is critical.
