DIAGNOSIS Loss of power. The internal fuse on the main control board may have blown, or the power adapter has failed.
FIX 1) Check the wall outlet with another device. 2) Check the 12V DC power adapter and its cable for damage. Ensure the round plug is fully inserted into the port on the back of the ice maker. 3) Try a different 12V/3A DC adapter with the same polarity (center-positive) if available.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The unit may have a blown thermal fuse from a prior overheating event. This is a safety device attached to the compressor. It requires component-level repair and is not user-serviceable.
HEADS UP Always unplug the unit during extended non-use. Power surges or voltage spikes while in standby can damage the control board. Using an incorrect power adapter will permanently damage the unit.
