Diagnosis
A firmware update can reset your riding mode or apply regional speed/ power limits. Your scooter is likely in a low-power mode.
How to Fix It
Check your mode in the app. Open it and ensure the riding mode is set to "Sport" or "Drive," not "Eco." Also, verify the "Lock Mode" is not activated. Lock Mode severely limits power.
If That Didn't Work
The update may have applied a regional limit. Go to the app's settings for the scooter. Check if "Speed Limit" is enabled or set to a low value. Disable it or set it to the maximum for your region.
Heads Up
Downgrading firmware is not officially supported and can brick the controller. Do not attempt it. If app settings don't restore power, contact Segway support. They can push a corrected firmware profile.
