When the machine runs indefinitely without producing ice, it indicates a failure in the water delivery system. The motor is spinning and the cooling system is active, but the evaporator is not receiving water, meaning the "freeze" phase never completes and the "harvest" phase never triggers. This is typically caused by one of three things: a mineral blockage in the inlet filter, an airlock (air bubble) trapped in the internal tubing that prevents the pump from priming, or a misalignment of the water tank seating. If you hear the pump humming but see no water entering the freezing chamber, the pump is likely fighting an air pocket or a physical obstruction. You can confirm this by listening for a "clicking" or "gurgling" sound during the cycle, which suggests the pump is attempting to move water but failing to create a vacuum.
How to Fix It
To resolve the water flow issue and prime the pump, follow these precise steps:
