DIAGNOSIS Continuous beeping is an alert. The most common causes are a full ice basket or an improperly closed lid.
FIX First, check the ice basket. Remove it and empty it completely. The weight sensor is very sensitive; even an overfull basket can trigger the alert. Second, ensure the clear viewing lid is fully closed and latched. Press down firmly on the center until you hear a click.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The lid sensor switch may be faulty or misaligned. With the unit unplugged, inspect the small plastic actuator near the hinge that depresses when the lid closes. Ensure it moves freely and makes contact.
HEADS UP The beeping will stop 3 minutes after the condition is corrected. Do not disable or cover the sensor. A full basket can strain the mechanism and cause the ice to jam during harvest.
