DIAGNOSIS A complete display failure points to a power supply issue or a main control board failure.
FIX First, verify power. Ensure the 110V outlet is functional by testing with another device. Check that the power cord is fully inserted into the socket on the back of the ice maker, not just the wall. Try a different outlet on a different circuit.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK There is an internal fuse on the control board. This requires disassembly to access. Unplug the unit, remove the rear panel, and locate the small glass fuse on the PCB. Test it for continuity. A blown fuse indicates a power surge.
HEADS UP Do not attempt to bypass the fuse. Replacing it with a higher-rated fuse is a fire hazard. If the fuse blows again immediately, a deeper electrical fault exists and the unit requires professional service.
