DIAGNOSIS This is hard water scale or detergent residue. The water softener setting is likely incorrect, or you are using too much detergent or the wrong type.

FIX First, run a cycle with a dishwasher cleaner like Affresh to remove existing film. Then, set the integrated water softener. Press 'Options' until the indicator for water hardness blinks. Use the '+' button to set the level (0-5) matching your home's water hardness. Always use rinse aid. Reduce detergent dose if you have soft water.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Ensure you are using fresh, name-brand detergent pods or powder. Gel detergent can leave residue. Do not use detergent pods in the pre-wash compartment. Place them only in the main detergent cup.

HEADS UP The 'Eco' cycle uses less water and lower temperatures. This can increase the risk of detergent not fully dissolving, leading to powder film. Switch to 'Auto' or 'Heavy' for clearer results.
