Diagnosis
You're not hitting the ideal operating conditions. The 26-bullet claim is under lab conditions: cold water input, ambient room temp of 70°F, and a clean machine. Real-world output is always lower.
How to Fix It
Maximize output by controlling variables. 1) Use pre-chilled water (from the fridge). 2) Ensure the room is below 75°F and the unit has 6+ inches of clearance on all sides for heat dissipation. 3) Let it complete full cycles without opening the lid or stopping it. It takes 6-8 minutes per cycle. 4) Clean it—scale buildup directly reduces ice yield.
If That Didn't Work
The water injection timing might be off. If the pump injects water too early in the freeze cycle, it makes fewer, thinner bullets. This is a control board issue, but you can test by noting if the 'water add' sound happens just 2-3 minutes after cycle start (too early) versus 4-5 minutes (normal).
Heads Up
The first batch after startup is always smaller as the system stabilizes. Judge output only after it's been running continuously for an hour. Also, the 'bullet' size is small by design—they're for drinks, not chewing.
