Diagnosis
The unit is in standby or has a fault preventing cycle start. Most commonly, it's either waiting for the initial 'first cycle' timer or has a failed thermal sensor.
How to Fix It
First, confirm it's in Ice Mode. Press the Power button once for the power light, then immediately press the Start/Stop button. You should hear a pump click and fan start within 60 seconds. If not, perform a hard reset: unplug for 2 full minutes, then plug back in and try the start sequence again.
If That Didn't Work
The compressor start delay might be stuck. These units have a ~3-minute delay between cycles. If it was unplugged mid-cycle, this timer can glitch. Leave it plugged in and powered 'on' for 30 minutes. If it doesn't auto-start, the main control board is likely faulty.
Heads Up
Unlike some appliances, the Kismile doesn't have an 'auto-restart' after power loss. You must manually press Start/Stop after any outage or unplugging event.
