Diagnosis
The touch control panel is locked or has become unresponsive due to a minor glitch in the main control board.
How to Fix It
First, check for a lock icon on the display. If present, press and hold the Timer button for 3 seconds to unlock. If no lock icon or that doesn't work, perform a hard reset: unplug the unit from power, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
If That Didn't Work
Moisture may have gotten behind the touch panel, causing a short. Leave the unit unplugged in a dry, warm room for 24 hours to evaporate any internal condensation, then try again.
Heads Up
Avoid using the dehumidifier in a way that directs the exhaust vent's warm, moist air directly onto the control panel, as this can cause condensation and panel failure.
