Diagnosis
That's a Power Failure (PF) error code. It means the unit detected a voltage surge or unstable power when it was plugged in or during operation.
How to Fix It
Unplug the unit from the wall outlet immediately. Wait 5 full minutes for its internal components to reset. Then, plug it directly into a dedicated wall outlet—do not use a power strip or extension cord. Press the power button.
If That Didn't Work
The issue might be a faulty power board from repeated surges. You'll need to contact Ivation support for a replacement control board or unit if it's under warranty.
Heads Up
Consistently using a power strip can cause this error to recur. For protection, invest in a high-quality surge protector with a joule rating over 1000, and plug the dehumidifier into that, not the other way around.
