DIAGNOSIS The unit is not detecting the basket. The three-beep alert triggers when the basket is not seated correctly or the basket sensor is obstructed.
FIX Remove the basket. Inspect the basket handle and the interior slot in the fryer for any food debris or grease buildup. Clean both areas with a dry cloth. Reinsert the basket, applying firm, even pressure until you hear a distinct click.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check for a bent or misaligned tab on the underside of the basket handle. Compare it to the shape of the slot. A bent tab will not engage the sensor switch.
HEADS UP Do not run the unit without the basket fully inserted. It will not heat and the repeated beeping indicates a safety lockout.
